City to Host Free Event on March 25
March 23, 2023
Experience a movie night under the stars this Saturday, March 25, at the City of Tallahassee's Movies in the Moonlight event! The community is invited to Cascades Park for a free showing of "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" beginning at 8 p.m. Come early to save your seat in the Adderley Amphitheater and enjoy family-friendly activities starting at 6 p.m.
This PG-13 film is a sequel to the "Black Panther" and "Avengers: Endgame" movies and is based on Marvel Comics' character, Black Panther. It tells the story of the fight to protect the kingdom of Wakanda following the death of its king.
Free popcorn will be available to the first 1,000 people that arrive to Movies in the Moonlight. Food vendors will be on-site offering family-friendly dinner options, snacks and treats. Seats in the Adderley Amphitheater are available on a first come, first served basis. Attendees can also bring a blanket and watch the movie from the grass at the back of the amphitheater.
Residents are encouraged to make a day of it by heading to Cascades Park early and exploring. Check out Discovery (the interactive kids play area) or take a walk to enjoy the park's natural beauty.
