TFD Extinguishes Commercial Structure Fire on South Adams Street

On March 27, at 3:10 p.m., the Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) was dispatched to a commercial structure fire located in the 1000 block of South Adams Street. TFD arrived on scene in less than five minutes to find smoke and fire showing from a single-story commercial warehouse. TFD personnel quickly attacked the fire and had it extinguished by 3:22 p.m.

The structure was searched, and it was determined that there were no occupants inside at the time of the fire. There were no reported injuries on scene.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

TFD was assisted on scene by the Tallahassee Police Department, City of Tallahassee Utilities and Leon County EMS.
